“Dcon” opens a complete precast factory, importing the latest technology “Vollert” from Germany hoping to expand business lines of complete building materials and answering the needs of partners and consumers. The company expects to start recognizing revenue this March, which is 10% of the total portfolio, and to increase production capacity.
Mr. Wittawat Pornkul, a Chief Executive Officer of Dcon Products Public Company Limited or Dcon which is a construction material manufacturer and a developer, said that after the construction of the new factory in Lam Luk Ka Klong 12, the company will give DSC Products Company Limited, a subsidiary company of Dcon, operate the Precast factory with a complete range of design,manufacture and installation in order to meet the needs of trade partners and consumers. The company will focus on the market of developers and medium to large contractors who do not yet have their own precast factories.
“We imported the latest version of automation technology“ Vollert ” from Germany. It has technology to validate the accuracy and precision in order to make our precast concrete wall which is a Bearing and a Partition wall more quality, high accuracy and rapidity. Moreover, it can help save labour, shorten working time, simple and clean on-site construction. In addition, the company has engineering teams to help supervise both design, manufacture and installation. We believe that our targeted customers will receive quality building materials from us for fully complete all product lines” informed Mr. Wittawat
Currently, the company has customers ready for production at full capacity. After the full production operation which started on January 15, 2020, the company expects to recognize revenues around this March. As a result, the precast factory business has become a business that generates approximately 10% of associated company’s income.
Mr. Wittawat stated that in addition to the strength in the traditional building materials business that will operate continuously, the company also starts to study new opportunities in order to answer both real estate developers and contractors needs including looking for the right timing in the manufacture of Hexagon piles and increasing the production capacity of Precast.
